White hats and the Great Reset

Updated: Nov 7

There has been talk of a great reset in our country and white hats controlling it all.

This is all true, but the reality is not what some folks claim. A secret man in charge will not be controlling the military, instituting martial law and sending “enemies of the people” to Gitmo to be executed. And another secret group of people will not be resetting our government. A small group seizes control of everything and we are to believe this is for our own good and once things are put back in order that they will just give up this great power and return it to the people.

As far as I know only one person in all of world history returned his dictatorial power back to the people. A military general in ancient Rome was enticed, with the complete power of a Caesar, to return and put down an enemy. After he did vanquish the enemy, he abdicated his power and returned to his farm. Frankly, thie above scenario sounds a lot like tyranny, which the Founders of this nation fought to get away from. Speaking of the Founders, George Washington rejected the temptation of such tyrannical power when the Congress offered to make him a monarch.

The truth is that We the People are the white hats, and when things get bad enough we will get off our collective backsides and push our state legislators hard to hold a Convention of States (COS). No matter who is in government, government will NOT do what is necessary to completely restrain government like it was intended to be.

Let me explain what a Convention of States (COS) actually is. It is the second method of proposing (suggesting) amendments to the Constitution. When two thirds of the states (34) call for a convention for proposing amendments, the federal government has no choice but to set the time and place for it. A committee, formed of commissioners from each state, gets together and discusses ideas of things it would like to see added to the present Constitution. After the ideas are properly worded and voted on, a majority is all that is needed here, then the proposals are submitted to each state for them to debate whether to ratify each individual proposal and possibly add it to the Constitution (this also takes a majority, in most states). If three quarters of the several states (38) ratify the proposal it then becomes an amendment, and only then will it have any power.

This first COS may not accomplish all that is needed, although the three subject areas in which proposals can be debated will be a good starting place. And this COS may be enough to put the federal government under OUR control again. If the first COS is insufficient, it will have made subsequent COSs easier to convene once the nation sees how well the first one ran.

And, yes, the Convention of States (COS) is the reset that is needed, and when the white hats (that’s us) decides that it’s time then we’ll have the Great Reset! Those who have power are unlikely to willingly give up their power, thus an outside force (We the People acting via the states) will have to take away their power for them.

But until then We will have to “…suffer, while evils are sufferable” as Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence.
